Greetings, Fellow Walkers!

It’s time again for our monthly Ragged community group walk and we’re excited that we’ll be hiking along some of the beautiful trails of Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve, the County’s most remote park, this coming Sunday, February 12th at 9:00am.

Located north of the village of Whitehall (you’ll take Browns Gap Turnpike to Blackwell Hollow Road…see attached map), this magnificent 600 acre park is at its best in the winter months, when the spectacular views are more visible. Click here for google map directions.

The first section features a short but decent switch backed climb before leveling off for most of the rest of the hike. We’d recommend trail shoes/boots and walking poles. We’ll have 2, 3 and 4 mile options.

We do hope you, your family and friends can join us for this beautiful winter walk in the mountains.

Call us at 434/293-3367 if you have any questions.

Cheers,
The Lorenzoni family
