Greetings fellow Walkers!
We were delighted to see so many of you for our first Ragged Group walk a few weeks ago out at Foxhaven. We all enjoyed our tour of the beautiful paths of this iconic property and are hoping many of you will join us again for our next group walk.
We will be meeting at 7:30am on Sunday May 2nd at the Green Springs National Historic District. This time the walk will take us along a gravel road that will give us beautiful panoramic views of some of the twenty pre-Civil War farms that make up the 14,000 acres of the District.
And, like last time, we will break into pace groups for an hour long walk but each of you will have the option of going further, after we complete the large group walk.
The gravel road surface and footing will be gentler than Foxhaven, so poles are not as necessary as last time. We'd suggest bringing water or energy drink.
We do hope you will join us in exploring this timeless yet relatively secret beautiful historic enclave next Sunday. And please feel free to bring a friend or your family.
